Volunteer

Several Volunteer Opportunities are available at Discovery House and through Discovery Ministries.

  • Former Discovery Retreat participants can apply to serve on a team that facilitates “Discovery Retreat” weekends and “Home Away from Home” weekends for future participants.
  • Discovery House is always in need of volunteer gardeners as well as individuals who are willing to assist with routine cleaning and maintenance in and around Discovery House.
  • Discovery Ministries welcomes volunteers interested in office work, public relations, and the planning and implementation of special events.

Upcoming Projects in need of Volunteers!

 From the Fall of 2012 to the present a beautiful Rosary Garden and Faith Walk has been constructed on the property. This includes several meditation areas with beautiful statuary, a pavilion for over 100 people, a Grotto dedicated to Our Lady, the Stations Of The Cross, a beautiful waterfall , Rosary Garden, and over forty granite benches. The adjoining area serves as a place for recreational activities, group activities, picnics, and arts and crafts. A great place to “Pray and Play”!
